| Plato Credit Recovery Summer School Delay |
| This is a ParentLink message from Marion County Schools about Summer School Credit Recovery. This message is also posted on the county website under announcements at marionboe.com. You may also call 304-367-2100 ext. 16.
We are having technical difficulties with the Plato software. They are issues that must be resolved by the company. It has nothing to do with our internet or computers. We can access other sites. There isn’t any reason for students to sit there and not be able to work on the software.
Therefore, we are delaying attendance at Summer School until this problem can be resolved. The company tells us that they have people working on resolving the problem.
We have thought of the following ways to resolve the situation:
1) If fixed in one or two days, we will extend the time an hour a day on days left to make up the time missed.
2) If too many days would be missed we will extend Summer School for Plato into the first Week of August.
Students are not to report until contacted through ParentLink that the problem has been resolved.
When it is resolved we will send out another ParentLink message telling students to report back to Summer School.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it is not in our control.

| Summer Driver License Forms |
| High school students are reminded that they must complete the school form needed for obtaining their Driver License before leaving school for the summer. Forms should be turned in immediately providing time for the County Attendance Officer to sign prior to the student leaving school for the summer. Forms are available in each school's main office. |
