Given the latest increase in COVID-19 cases and in direct consultation with the Marion County Health Department the Marion County Board of Education has made the decision to move to “Full Remote Learning” starting on Thursday, December 10th through Wednesday, December 23rd.
We will return to our Blended Learning Model on Monday, January 4th. Meal pick up will be available at your child’s school from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 5 days on the following dates: Wed. Dec. 9th Wed. Dec. 16th Tue. Dec. 22nd Wed. Jan. 6th You can sign up by contacting your child’s school. Be safe and continue to wear your mask. This is a message is from Marion County Schools, Marion County Schools is excited to partner with the Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission to continue the summer feeding program. Starting on Wednesday, June 3rd Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission will distribute meals, mid-day, from 11 designated sites throughout the county. Option A- Meals can be picked up from your child’s school from your child’s school from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Option B- The delivery of meals will be delivered by our school bus drivers starting tomorrow Thursday, March19th between 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. at your child’s designated bus stop. Friday March 20th is in the school calendar as a Professional Learning Day. With this in mind and due to schools still being closed, students are asked to complete Climate Control Day Packet Number five for March 23 and 24. Each school has set up their specific lines of communication that will be utilized during the closure.
