West Virginia General Summative Assessment

Marion County Schools will participate in the West Virginia General Summative Assessment.  All students, whether attending in-person or participating in a distant learning or virtual program, will be invited by their school to participate. The dates your school may use for testing will be communicated to you by the individual school.  Schools will choose dates in the statewide window which is open from March 29-May 28, 2021.  The following information containing a letter from W. Clayton Burch, State Superintendent of Schools, an FAQ and An Informational Guide for Parents/Guardians will answer many of your questions.  Please reach out to your child's school if you need further assistance.
