Marion County Schools (MCS) has worked closely with the Marion County Health Department (MCHD) to provide COVID vaccine opportunities for your child. MCS will not be offering clinics. If you wish for your student, age 5 and over, to receive the COVID vaccine the MCHD has opened a link for you to schedule a time that is best for you. You are not obligated to use this clinic option, as there are many local physicians and pharmacies offering the vaccine as well.

Monongah Elementary Halloween Parade will be Friday, October 29 beginning at 1:30. The route will go from the school parking lot, left up Walnut, down by the Family Dollar then back to the school on Rt 19. Further details will be sent out by classroom teachers. Parents will not be permitted in the school building or able to accompany the students on the parade route. We do invite you to enjoy the parade along the route.

Underwood Smith Scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors who are interested in becoming a WV teacher: The current senior class can apply by December 31, 2021, for this scholarship, which could offer them $10,000.00 a year for four years while working to become to teacher.
