November is Pie Season! East Middle School celebrated their 9 week behavior reward for students. It included "Pie A Teacher One Penny One Vote." This was the result of the Top 9 earners. The money will go back into the Positive Behavior Rewards program at the school.





Tomorrow afternoon is our fall fest for the students that met the PBIS expectations of the first nine weeks. These expectations include no more than three unexcused absences, no more than three tardies, no more than three zeroes in all classes combined, no more than three days of structured lunch, and no out of school suspensions. Part of Fall Fest will be outside so please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather tomorrow including possibly a jacket. Thank you!

6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys' basketball tryouts will begin Monday, November 8th and will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 in the school gym. Any boy wishing to try out must have a physical signed by a physician.

Make-up pictures will take place tomorrow, November 4th, at East Fairmont Middle for any student that was unable to get their picture taken earlier this fall.

EFMS Cross Country completed their season on 10/18 @ North Marion with both teams winning the championship!
Kailee Haymond won the girls race with a time of 10:17 and Maximus Fortier won the boys race in 9:24. These runners also won Varsity awards - Annabelle Skidmore 2nd, Adalynn Parilak 6th, Lily Larnard 8th, Ryleigh Bills 9th, Paige Snyder 10th, Caroline Corwin 11th, Brady Hutson 4th, Dominic Rinehart 5th, Anthony Corwin 6th, Jonah Henderson 8th, Ben Barnes 9th, and Bryler Wilson 10th.
Kailee was a 3-time individual county champion!
