Exciting news! Our Fortune Fundraiser/Otis Spunkmeyer shipment is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, October 29! Students with smaller orders will be able to take their items home on Thursday. Families with larger orders should plan to pick up their items in the EFMS cafeteria between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. Please enter through the front main entrance of the school. We have limited freezer space for items that are not picked up, so please make arrangements to collect all fundraiser orders on Thursday during the designated pickup time. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped raise money for EFMS! We appreciate your support!

As we head into next week, the EFMS Administration would like to share a few important reminders with our Hornet families! 🚗 Morning Drop-Off & Afternoon Pick-Up: All parents and guardians should use Mason Street for student drop-off and pick-up. The bus lane in front of the school is reserved for buses and individuals who have made prior arrangements with administration. Please remember that Mason Street is a two-way street, so passing vehicles in the drop-off and pick-up line is not permitted. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation in keeping our students safe! 🎨 PTO Color Run Fundraiser: We are entering the final week of our PTO Color Run fundraiser! Please continue to support this exciting event as we look forward to our Color Run on Friday, October 16! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this fundraiser a success! 📚 No School Monday: Monday, October 12, is a Professional Learning (PL) Day for staff, which means no school for students! Our new members of our Hornet Crew decided on today’s conversation cart question:  Who would win in a dance off?  Mr.  Sampson or Mrs.  Ross?  Our students decided that Mrs.  Ross would win the challenge but it was our closest conversation question to date!  Huge thank you to Mrs.  P and our Hornet Crew for keeping our kids engaged!

October's Hornet Happenings!

For the month of October, 5th grade teachers are asking for donations for their Trunk-or-Treat vehicle. If your student brings in bags of candy, they will receive 2 PBIS points per bag. Students can turn in to their homeroom.
