Good Morning East Fairmont!
The English Honorary would like to announce its new officers for the 2021-2022 school year: President Alison Singleton, Vice-President Makenzie Bennett. and Secretary Kailey Carpenter. Congratulations!
If you are interested in attending a Student Council meeting, come to the LGI in the English hallway at this time. All are welcome.
Congratulations to the boys cross country team who placed 1st and the girls who placed 3rd at the Fairmont Senior Invitational at Apple Valley on Saturday.
The Homecoming parade will be this Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. on Morgantown Avenue. Each class will have a float. Check with your class adviser for decorating dates.
Come by and see Mrs. Copenhaver in the Atrium parking lot during the Homecoming parade Wednesday and get a free hot dog. She is looking forward to seeing your smiling faces.
Seniors: Visit studentscholarships.org for information about upcoming scholarship opportunities. There are applications due on Oct. 15.
The Coca Cola Scholarship deadline is due Oct.31 For updates on all scholarship opportunities check your Class of 2022 in google classroom.
Freshmen who are interested in running for a freshmen class office need to complete the form in google classroom, Class of 2025.
Homecoming will take place this Saturday, October 9th from 7-9. The Homecoming football game will be this Friday night at East West Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. The Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime.
Spirit Week is this week, Oct. 4-8. Spirit Week dress up days are Mythical Monday. Dress as any mythical creature. Tuesday is Halloween Hootinany, Dress in your costume. Out of the Woods Wednesday is dress in your favorite flannel or camo. For Throwback Thursday, pick your favorite decade and go all out. For Fitcheck Friday wear your fanciest clothes or Blue/Gold.
Are you interested in travel? Please see Ms. Morgan or Mrs. Ely for information on traveling to Costa Rica during the Summer of 2023.
Please support the East Fairmont High School Class of 2023! We will be using the money from the Little Caesar’s fundraiser to pay for prom. Check out the link the school Facebook page.
The 2021 Yearbooks are in! Books may be picked up before school, during homeroom and lunch!
Senior athletes: The Heisman High School Scholarship is available online at heismanscholarship.com. The deadline is Oct. 19.
