Good Morning East Fairmont! 

Congratulations to our Women's Choir and Elizabethan Chamber Singers for their success at Music in the Parks in Williamsburg, VA this past weekend. Both groups took home 1st place with Superior and Excellent ratings. 

FBLA is sponsoring a food/personal hygiene drive for the Soup Opera until the end of April. Flyers have been posted around the school and only those items will be accepted. For every 10 items you donate, you will receive 1 hour of community service up to 3 hours.    

Congratulations to the softball team and Mrs. Reeseman on a great softball alumni event. 

All AP students taking an AP exam in May need to attend a meeting in the auditorium on Tuesday, April 12 during homeroom.  

If you need community service hours to graduate, please see Mrs. Copenhaver about helping with a community event on April 16.  

EFHS has an opportunity for students who need community service hours to help with the Art Exhibits and Literacy Fair on April 30th at the FSHS Field House.  See Mrs. Haught in room 100 if you would like to volunteer or find out more information. 

 

Spring Sports and choir photos will be this Wednesday, 4/13, after school. See your coaches for more information.  

 

The EFHS Foundation is selling ferns to fund student scholarships and mini grants. Ferns may be purchased from a student or online at tinyurl.com/EFHSFoundationFerns by 4/25. Orders may be picked up on May 7 at the YWCA on Pleasant Valley Road. 

 

Students are invited to attend a countywide Career Fair on April 26 from 5-7 PM at the Field House.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Copenhaver 

 

Students – Don’t forget that the School store is open every day after school until 3:00 p.m. 

 

Yearbooks are on sale for this year. Orders may be placed at jostens.com or bring to Ms. Gerau in room 107. 

The lunch menu for today is pizza or ham, green beans, and scalloped potatoes.
