Congratulations to Kierstyn Maxey for winning the Big Ten Championship in tennis #3 singles. 

FBLA is sponsoring a food/personal hygiene drive for the Soup Opera until the end of April. Flyers have been posted around the school and only those items will be accepted. For every 10 items you donate, you will receive 1 hour of community service up to 3 hours.    

Prom will take place this Saturday with coronation at 6:30 at Crystalline Events.  Be sure to purchase your tickets by Wednesday, April 27!  See Ms. Butcher or Ms. Deane 

 

Want to show off your talents?   EFHS will be hosting a talent showcase on Friday, May 13.  Sign up outside of Ms. Deane's room for a time slot for tryouts!

EFHS will be holding Team Heroes Spectacular (a version of Special Olympics) on our campus Friday, May 13.  We will be hosting this event for all the Eastside attendance area schools. We need your help to make is a success.  You would like to sign up to be a buddy or a helper. 

 

Seniors and juniors may sign up with Mrs. Hudson this Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Sophomores and freshmen may sign up with Mrs. Hudson this Thursday and Friday.  

You MUST purchase a shirt to participate.  The shirts are $15 and can be purchased during homeroom.  

 

EFHS has an opportunity for students who need community service hours to help with the Art Exhibits and Literacy Fair on April 30th at the FSHS Field House.  See Mrs. Haught in room 100 if you would like to volunteer or find out more information. 

 

The EFHS Foundation is selling ferns to fund student scholarships and mini grants. Ferns may be purchased from a student or online at tinyurl.com/EFHSFoundationFerns by 4/25. Orders may be picked up on May 7 at the YWCA on Pleasant Valley Road.

Students are invited to attend a countywide Career Fair on April 26 from 5-7 PM at the Field House.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Copenhaver

Yearbooks are on sale for this year. Orders may be placed at jostens.com or bring to Ms. Gerau in room 107. 

The lunch menu for today is pizza or chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries.
