Mrs. Ridenour and the 2nd grade team at East Dale Elementary presented classroom supplies to Mrs. Cook the school intervention specialist at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital that will be used to help children keep up with their studies while in the hospital.

"BEE our GUEST"...
Our Second Grade Cluster hosted a visit from Mrs. Lynette Swiger, proprietor of FernFaye Farm, a local farm on Bunner Ridge specializing in cut flowers, herbs, fruit, local beef, and honey. During her visit, Mrs. Swiger modeled for the young gardeners how to harvest seeds from fading blooms. After modeling the process, our learners “rolled their sleeves up” and harvested some seeds from the withering flowers that Mrs. Swiger brought with her from her farm.
