Attention FSHS parents. FSHS is going to complete a "Code Yellow" lockdown drill @ 11:55 today. This is only a drill and will last approximately 15 minutes. During the drill the school will be locked down and nobody will be allowed in or out of our buildings. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello Polar Bears! Just a reminder, students are not allowed to bring backpacks or bags to the stadium. Adult bags may be reviewed prior to entry. Also, paint of any kind (body, etc) will not be allowed in the stadium. Anyone caught with any kind of paint will be immediately removed and possibly punished for vandalism. LET'S GO BEARS!

Attention Polar Bears. Math tutoring will begin today right after school in room 408 with Mr. Yeager. The math tutoring schedule is: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays 2:30-4:15. We have an activity bus that will take you home at 4:15 and picks up beside the new gym stairs.

Fairmont Senior Families: During the period of Sept. 6-16, 2022, MCS will be administering a survey to students, teachers, and families. The WE SUPPORT Survey is designed to inform schools and districts about expectations and perceptions the community has about student learning. Attention Polar Bear Football Fans. This week will begin the new policy where backpacks & bags are not allowed into the stadium on game night. Any bags necessary for adults (diaper bags, etc) may be inspected. Students are not allowed to bring backpacks or bags to the game. Please be respectful of our new security measures to keep everyone safe!

Attention Polar Bears. Wednesday is a 2 hour delay schedule for students. See you @ 9:15 to start classes. Morning votech will not be going, only afternoon votech on Wednesday.

Due to WVEIS errors, we are unable to obtain a list of all of the girls who are eligible to run for Homecoming Court. Therefore, we need all freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors to “sign up” to have your name on the Homecoming Court ballot. Starting Wednesday, August 31st at 8am, there will be a Google Form posted on the PAWs Google Classroom. This form will be up until 3pm. You must sign in and reply to the form if you want your name to be included on the Homecoming Court ballot. The counselors will then review the list and all who have the required 2.0 GPA will be placed on the ballot. *Please know that if you do not fill out the form between 8am and 3pm on Wednesday, your name will not be on the ballot.

Attention Polar Bear Seniors. There are required vaccinations for you to attend school. We have a list of 32 seniors who need to show proof of their vaccinations to attend FSHS. Obviously I can't share these names here, so if you are unsure, please bring your vaccination record to school Monday. If you are not up-to-date on your vaccinations, you will be sent home.

Excited that Ian Holbert got the chance to complete his Eagle Scout project this summer. Beautification of the FSHS campus as well as a nice place to sit and enjoy our awesome outdoor spaces!!
