This a Bison Herd Alert: The 2022 K-4 Christmas Program will take place on Wednesday, December 14th at the Barrackville School gym. The program will start at 6:00. Please have students there by 5:40 to make sure they are lined up. Doors will not be open before 5:30. Please make sure students DRESS FOR SUCCESS in holiday colors. Students will be doing a practice run through for the school that morning during the school day as well. They may wear casual Christmas-colored clothing during the school day.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: PTO meeting Monday Oct 24 at 3:30 @ the playground pavilion. We will be discussing the upcoming Halloween Dance Party and future fundraisers. Children are welcome! Hope to see you there!

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Parents, Our school day begins at 8:20. It is important to have students in the building prior to 8:20 so that they can begin their day with breakfast and in an orderly fashion with their peers. Tardies are a disruption to our morning routine and interfere with our students' focus and readiness to learn. When a student is late for school, their morning is rushed and that is not the best way to prepare their minds for learning. We want to see our HERD every day and attendance is key! Please help us give our students the best start we can and have the HERD READY TO LEARN!

This is a Bison Herd Alert: The Lawyer in the School program from Legal Aid of West Virginia will begin holding free legal clinics at Barrackville this Wednesday from 3:15-4:15pm. The clinics will continue on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the same time.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Hat Day is tomorrow! Wear your favorite hat for $1.00 and support the 8th grade class!

There will be signups for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade cheerleading and boys basketball on Wednesday October 12 from 4:00-5:30. Signups will be held in the Barrackville K/Pre-K Annex building. The registration fee is $55.00 Please message John Ramsey if you are interested in coaching. We hope to have a team for each grade level. If we are unable to obtain enough players and/or coaches, then players will be given the option to play on a combined team (with another school) or play a grade level above their current grade. Refunds will be provided if the option available is not acceptable to the player.
