Barrackville Elementary/Middle School

This is a Bison Herd Alert for students attending Summer SOLE: Summer SOLE begins on Tuesday, June 21st. Parent drop off will begin at 8:15am in the front loop of the school. If you still have questions regarding bus transportation, please call the school. Parent Pick-up will begin the front loop of the school at 2:15pm and bus departure begins at 2:30pm. The last day of Summer SOLE is July 13th.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Please make plans to join us for the Back to School Bash on August 19th beginning at 3 pm. Meet your teachers from 3-5 pm. Food Trucks will be in the front loop from 3-6 for purchase. Our local churches will again host the school supply store in the gym. PTO, the BVFD, and BPD will host activities from 5-7 in the back of the school. Class lists will not be released until August 19th. Also, class supply lists can be accessed on the school website by clicking Explore, then Documents.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: New Student Registration will be held on August 1st from 8:30-3 pm in the Kindergarten Annex. Must have proof of required immunizations, proof of residence (physical address not PO Box), and Certificate of Live Birth (from the WV Bureau of Vital Statistics or the County Courthouse- not the hospital).

Back to School Bash August 19th 3-7

This is a Bison Herd Alert: We did it Bisons! We completed another great school year. We hope you have the best summer and have lots of fun. Don't forget to read a book in between all of your summer adventures. We will see you on August 19th for our Back to School Bash!.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: K-4th grade students will participate in PBIS Reward Day and Field Day on Tuesday, May 28th in the afternoon. Eligible Students will be outside all afternoon enjoying lots of fun games and ice cream. Please be sure to pack extra water, sunscreen, a change of clothes (there will be water games), and have students wear tennis shoes. Middle School students will also be outside. Please remind them to bring extra water and sunscreen. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

Come to school dressed like youre going to a luau! Wednesday: Color Wars Show your class pride by wearing the most of your color! This is a Bison Herd Alert: We will collect Chromebooks on Friday, May 24th. Students must bring their Chromebook, charger, and backpack/case to their homeroom teacher on Friday.

8th Grade Graduation will be Wednesday May 22 at 6pm in the North Marion High School Auditorium

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Builders Club is sponsoring a Mothers Day Flower Sale on Thursday, May 9th. Wooden roses can be purchased for $2.00 each or 3 roses for $5.00. Each rose is wrapped for gift-giving.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Student Council and Builders Club are sponsoring a campus clean up on Friday, May 17th from 3:30 - 5 pm. We will be painting railings and doing a general campus clean-up. Parents are welcome and appreciated! Thank You!

This is a Bison Herd Alert: The scholastic book fair was a success today! It will be open again on Tuesday and Wednesday during school hours if you would like your child to shop.

Scholastic bookfair is here! The fair will be open for the family event this weekend Saturday May 4 from 10-12 and Sunday May 5 from 5-7 in the school gymnasium. The fair will also be open Monday- Wednesday for students to shop during school hours.
