This is a Bison Herd Alert: personalized yearbook orders will be due on Tuesday, May 23rd. Non-personalized yearbook orders are due May 30th and checks need to be made payable to Barrackville Elementary/Middle School. If you have any questions, please contact Samantha Halpenny.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Parents attending the middle school band and chorus concert tomorrow- Parking is prohibited in the front loop of the school tomorrow afternoon. Parents that are attending the concert are free to park at the Bethesda Baptist Church and the Lower Methodist Church lot. If your child is not a parent pick-up student, you will need to vacate those lots by 3 pm. Parents who normally line up for parent pick-up in those lots will need to delay their arrival until 3 pm as those lots will be full and cannot be blocked. Also, parents will not be permitted in the building until 1:20 pm as we will be cleaning up from lunch and the gym will not be free until that time. As you know, space is extremely limited. Please limit guests to immediate family. Thank you.

This is a Bison Herd Alert for 8th-grade parents: Kennywood permission slips are due Thursday, April 27th. NO permission slips will be accepted after 3 pm on Thursday. We have to have our final count and make our final payment to Kennywood at that time.

Attention 8th-grade parents: A North Marion High School Counselor will be visiting us on Tuesday, March 28th during 7th & 8th periods to choose classes for their freshman schedules. This is a great chance to ask any questions they may have about classes available at the High School. Copies of schedule requests & personalized education plans will be sent home for parent review & signatures, please return them as soon as possible.
