ATTENTION High School Seniors! Deadlines are approaching! 

You can't get scholarships without completing the FAFSA!  And now, you can win prizes just for applying for the Promise Scholarship AND filing the FAFSA by March 1st, 2021.  (Just apply and prize winners are selected automatically.)  

Promise Scholarship

Deadline Extended to July 1, 2021: The deadline to apply for the Promise Scholarship has been extended to July 1, 2021. While the Promise application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are due by July 1, students have until the end of August to earn qualifying ACT or SAT test scores to be eligible to receive the scholarship this fall. 

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)

The 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) launched on October 1.  Students who plan to attend college between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022, should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible .  The form can be completed online at StudentAid.gov on a desktop or mobile device. 

The ONLY way to apply for federal student aid is to fill out the FAFSA: the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  To complete the application on your phone, use the myStudentAid Mobile App.

College Foundation of West Virginia Txt 4 Success

Class of 2021 The College Foundation of West Virginia has a free service to provide students with college and financial aid counseling through text messages. Students who are thinking of enrolling in college in 2021 may sign up to receive the texts. Text messages will provide reminders about important deadlines.
