Kindergarten Registration

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year will take place from February 5 through March 1, 2024.

To Register for Kindergarten, please pick up a packet from your child's home school - contact school for times and more information. If you are unable to pick up a packet, one can be mailed upon request.

A child is eligible to be enrolled for kindergarten if he or she reaches the age of 5 years old prior to July 1st of the upcoming school year.

If you are requesting a transfer to another school, you still must register at your child’s home school according to attendance area.

Requirements Checklist

  • Marion County Student Information Form

  • Dental Screening Form

  • Health Screening Form - Ages 5 and 6

  • Immunization Records

  • Certificate of Live Birth*

  • Proof of Residency - Utility bill indicating place of residence



    *Please note: A copy of a birth certificate issued by the Marion County Court House or a hospital is not sufficient.  The certificate must be that which is issued from the WV Department of Vital Statistics. If you are unable to locate a certificate of live birth for your child, you may apply for a replacement. Print a copy of the Birth Certificate Request Form and send it, along with the $12.00 non-refundable fee to:
