You can't get scholarships without completing the FAFSA! 

  • FAFSA Application: Planning for college? Grant funds are available! April 15 is the deadline to complete the FAFSA to see if you’re eligible for the WV Higher Education Grant. Fill out the FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov, and learn more about the grant at collegeforwv.com

  • Promise Scholarship Application: High school seniors in the class of 2023: Don't forget to apply for the Promise Scholarship by this March! This merit-based scholarship provides eligible students up to $5,000 to cover the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at higher education institutions all across the state. College Foundation of West Virginia Txt 4 Success

The College Foundation of West Virginia has a free service to provide students with college and financial aid counseling through text messages. Students who are thinking of enrolling in college in 2021 may sign up to receive the texts. Text messages will provide reminders about important deadlines.
