This is a Bison Herd Alert: North Marion Boys Soccer Youth Night September 28, 2026 Game starts at 6pm Please arrive by 5:30pm Come dressed in your soccer uniform and join the boy’s soccer team on the field to be recognized before the start of the game. Admission is free for participating athletes.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: There will be signups for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys basketball and cheer on Sunday September 27 1:00 - 2:30pm (Barrackville gym) and Wednesday September 30 3:30-5:00pm (Barrackville Cafeteria). 3rd grade boys can signup to play 4th grade (3rd grade girls can sign up to cheer too). If you are unable to attend, please direct message me. The registration fee is $55.00 and $35.00 for siblings. 🏀💙💛 We hope to have a team for each grade level. If we are unable to obtain enough players and/or coaches, then players will be given the option to play on a combined team (with another school) or play a grade level above their current grade. Refunds will be provided if the option available is not acceptable to the player.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Reminder: Students are not permitted to bring ANY caffeinated beverages (soda, sweet tea) or energy drinks to school, even in their lunch. Students can recieve a discipline referral if they have these items.

If you would like to walk your child into class for the first day, you must park at Bethesda Baptist and cross in the front of the school.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: We are so excited to welcome our Kindergarten students tomorrow! Parents, if you are dropping your child off, please use the drop off loop at the Church of Christ. If you would like to walk your child into class for the first day, you must park at Bethesda Baptist and cross in the front of the school.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: A few updates for arrival and dismissal.
Arrival and breakfast begin at 8 am. There is no supervision prior to 8 am. Please do not drop your student off before 8 am. If you arrive after 8:15, you must come to the front door to be buzzed in.
Buses will arrive in the front. In the morning, the front loop is for bus arrival ONLY.
If you would like to park and walk your child to the front of the building, you must park at Bethesda Baptist Church and use the front crosswalk. You are not permitted to park in the Church of Christ or Methodist Church lot. Parents are not permitted in the building. We do allow parents to accompany their student in on the first day of Kindergarten and Preschool ONLY.
Walkers may enter the building at the front or annex side of the building.
Parent pickup will remain similar to last year with a slight change in the configuration. If you have dropped off before, you know how the sun blinds you first thing in the morning. We will have cones out for the first few weeks to help guide you. Students must be ready to exit with bags ready to go. There is a lot of traffic in the morning, and we need traffic to move efficiently.
DISMISSAL
Walkers 3:08. They are NOT permitted to walk to a parked car. They walk home!
Bus dismissal is by intercom as they arrive.
Parent pickup lines up at Bethesda Baptist and is dismissed by Ms. Pudsell at 3:12.
As always, please help us be good neighbors. Our churches allow us to use their lots. Do not block their entrances or exits.

This is a Bison Herd Alert:MEMORANDUM To: Parents, Guardians, and Approved Pick-Up Contacts From: School Administration Date: August 25, 2026 Subject: New Student Sign-In and Sign-Out Procedures Dear Parents and Guardians, As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure school environment, we are implementing new student sign-in and sign-out procedures in accordance with the new Safe Schools Act. Effective immediately, any student who arrives late or is being picked up early must be signed in or out through the Main Office. Parents and guardians should no longer go directly to classrooms or other areas of the building for these purposes. Identification Requirements All parents, guardians, and approved individuals will be required to present a valid photo ID when signing a student in or out. IDs will be scanned into our school system, so please make sure you bring your identification with you whenever you come to school to pick up or sign in a student. Approved Pick-Up Contacts Please make sure your student’s Student Information Form is complete and up to date and that everyone who is authorized to pick up your child is listed. Please remind all approved pick-up individuals that they must also bring a valid photo ID when picking up your child. School personnel are not permitted to release a student to anyone who is not listed as an approved contact or properly entered into WVEIS. These procedures are being put in place to help ensure that we know who is entering and leaving our school and, most importantly, to help protect our students and staff. We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we implement these new procedures. Thank you for helping us keep our students, staff, and school safe! School Administration
