This is a Bison Herd Alert: We have had a change to the schedule for the PBIS rewards trip due to some limitations with our transportation department. So, the Second, Third, and Fourth grades will travel on Wednesday to Retro Skate for their reward, and then PreK, Kindergarten, First, and middle school will travel to Retro SKate on Thursday. Sorry for the confusion! Thank you!

This is a Bison Herd Alert: There will be a parent/student meeting for 6th, 7th & 8th-grade cheerleaders on Monday, 11/6 at 3:30 in the school cafeteria. If you missed sign-ups and would like to cheer for our middle school team, you are welcome to attend! Students must have a physical & a 2.0 GPA in order to participate.

This is a Bison Herd Alert Marion County Schools is showing it support for three very important issues that touch families in our community-bullying, domestic violence, and students with disabilities. Students and staff can help raise awareness and show support by wearing the following colors: Wednesday- Bullying = Orange Thursday - Domestic Violence = Purple Friday- Students with Disabilities = Blue Thank you.

This is a Bison Herd Alert for Middle School: Tomorrow is the first day of after school homework help. Students MUST have a permission slip returned to stay. We are still waiting for a final list to provide to transportation, so for this week, students will need to walk home or be picked up at 4:30 in the front loop.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Parents: Beginning Monday, Oct 16th the parent drop-off pattern will change in the morning. This change is being made to alleviate traffic backups on Pike Street. Parents will enter on the outer loop of the Barrackville Church of Christ (next to the Barrackville Garbage Location) and drive directly up and behind the Church of Christ. You will then loop around the back and then turn into the Barrackville United Methodist lot and turn right towards the pavilion. Students will not be permitted to exit their vehicles until there is a staff member at their vehicle door. Students who walk to school will still be able to walk in that direction to school as staff supervision will be positioned at the upper section of the Church of Christ Parking Lot. Please bear with us as everyone familiarizes themselves with this change. Also, vehicles are prohibited from parking in either the Methodist or Church of Christ lots. Parents must use the Bethesda Baptist Church lot and utilize the front crosswalk. Parents are not permitted to walk their children through the parent drop-off lane because that requires us to hold up cars to let you pass. Thank you for your cooperation.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: At dismissal, students are not permitted to walk to meet vehicles parked in the church lots or on neighboring streets. They must go to parent pick up. Walkers are students who walk unaccompanied home.
