Promise Scholarship Deadline Extended to July 1st
The deadline to apply for the Promise Scholarship has been extended to July 1, 2021. While the Promise application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are due by July 1, students have until the end of August to earn qualifying ACT or SAT test scores to be eligible to receive the scholarship this fall.

The University of Charleston, through a unique partnership with the National Science Foundation, can help students pursue their educational goals with the Environmental Challenges Scholarship. The scholarship is available for twelve exceptional students, and is worth up to $9,500 annually to cover unmet financial needs for qualifying students pursuing a four-year degree in Biology, Chemistry, Dual Chemistry-Biology, Data Analytics, and Computer Science.
