2024 - Grades K-8

Marion County Schools is happy to announce our 4th Summer SOLE Program, with opportunities for Learning & Engagement for students in grades K through 8 for school year 2023-2024.

4 Credit Recovery Locations at each High School and Barnes ALC
(Registration for Credit Recovery is conducted at each location)

Areas of Study and Exploration

The focus will be on accelerated learning, including intervention and enrichment strategies. We are planning exciting activities that will target Math and English Language arts, (literacy) lessons with embedded Science, Social Studies, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), wellness and social emotional aspects.

Additional Information

Transportation is available for this program. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.

Credit Recovery

Elementary Locations

  • Blackshere Elementary (Students that attend Blackshere & Monongah Elementary)

  • East Park Elementary (For students who attend East Park, East Dale, and Pleasant Valley)

  • Fairview Elementary (Students that attend Fairview, Barrackville, Rivesville, & 4th grade at Fairview Middle)

  • Watson Elementary (students that attend Watson, Jayenne, & White Hall)

Middle School Locations

  • West Fairmont Middle (Students that attend WFMS, EFMS, & Rivesville)

  • North Marion High School (For all NM area Middle School students)
