Transitional Kindergarten

Marion County Schools will provide a Transitional Kindergarten 2024 Summer Program.  Opportunities for Learning and Engagement for students starting kindergarten this fall. 

The focus will be on social interaction, transitioning, and include hands on activities dealing with literacy and math to help get them ready for kindergarten.  We will provide breakfast and lunch during the academy.

Program Dates and Times

July 9 through July 30, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Transportation is available for this program. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.

  • Fairview Elementary (Students that attend Fairview, Barrackville, Rivesville, & 4th grade at Fairview Middle)

  • Watson Elementary (students that attend Watson, Jayenne, & White Hall)
