If your student plans to perform with North Marion’s band tomorrow night and needs their instrument from the band room, please call or email the school so we can retrieve it for you. asdunn@k12.wv.us or jamie.morgan@k12.wv.us If school is canceled for students tomorrow, parents may still stop by to pick up instruments. This is a Bison Herd Alert From Dr. Perry: The Y-teens field trip scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. We are working to get it rescheduled and will let the students know more details later this week.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Due to a water main break impacting areas of the school earlier this week, students will not report to Barrackville Elementary/Middle School on October 15, 2026. Staff will report on a regular schedule Thursday.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: Mark your calendars! The 2026 PK-4 Christmas Program will take place on Thursday, December 3rd at 6:00 in the North Marion High School auditorium. The program will start at 6:00. Please have students there by 5:40 to make sure they are lined up and ready to go at 6:00 pm! Students are welcome to DRESS FOR SUCCESS in holiday colors and must have zero days of suspension during the school year to participate in the evening concert.

Walkers will be dismissed at 10:10 and parent pickup will begin at 10:15. Our phones are currently out, so if you have a student prek to 3 and cannot meet them at the bus stop call 304-612-2882

This is a Bison Herd Alert: North Marion Boys Soccer Youth Night September 28, 2026 Game starts at 6pm Please arrive by 5:30pm Come dressed in your soccer uniform and join the boy’s soccer team on the field to be recognized before the start of the game. Admission is free for participating athletes.

This is a Bison Herd Alert: There will be signups for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys basketball and cheer on Sunday September 27 1:00 - 2:30pm (Barrackville gym) and Wednesday September 30 3:30-5:00pm (Barrackville Cafeteria). 3rd grade boys can signup to play 4th grade (3rd grade girls can sign up to cheer too). If you are unable to attend, please direct message me. The registration fee is $55.00 and $35.00 for siblings. 🏀💙💛 We hope to have a team for each grade level. If we are unable to obtain enough players and/or coaches, then players will be given the option to play on a combined team (with another school) or play a grade level above their current grade. Refunds will be provided if the option available is not acceptable to the player.
