
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will take place from February 6 through March 1, 2023 in Marion County Schools.
To Register for Kindergarten, please pick up a packet from your child's home school - contact school for times and more information. If you are unsure of your home school, contact the Marion County Board office for assistance.
A child is eligible to be enrolled for kindergarten if they reach the age of 5 years old prior to July 1st of the upcoming school year.
All packets are due by March 1st. Additional information can be found at Marion County Board of Education website.


Know that you are loved. The largest school in MC, Fairmont Senior High, reminds students. National Honor Society co-sponsors Adrin Fisher and Brooke Stark, create a Ruby Bridges display each year and hearts are added for every Valentine's Day. NHS members cut out hearts and write the name of every FSHS student on their own hearts. Members hang the hearts down the hallway of the second floor, so kids can see their names and know that they are valued and loved as a part of our community.





100th Day of Learning! Mrs. Williams’ Kindergarten Classroom at East Dale was filled with wise learners playing bingo utilizing their 100th Day Trail Mix as they celebrated what they have learned over the past 100 days.

The Uncommon Man Club at Blackshere took 3rd & 4th grade boys to tour the Marion County Courthouse. Judge Wilson served as the guide and spoke with them about the dangers of vaping, bullying and the value of using respect.
