They will be honored today at the board of education meeting as they join only 1,218 teachers across WV and more than 130,000 NBCTs nationally for this elite honor. The National Board Certification is an advanced teaching credential that is based upon national standards for what accomplished teachers should know and be able to do nation-wide. Not everyone who seeks the credential earns it, so MCS is particularly proud of Susan Conley and Sara Cornwell of West Fairmont Middle School and Heather Summers and Rebecca Walters of Fairmont Senior High School.

Tune In! Mannington Middle School's first Snowball Dance, sponsored by the PTO tonight. What a great time! The dance ended with a Snowball fight and good memories. ❄️💚
