The MCS STEAM bus arrived at Monongah Elementary today as Rachel Hulldeman provides hands on learning to support teachers’ instruction from the regular classroom. The bus is on a schedule for 3 days at the school. ##MCSgetbackinthegame

September 23 has been proclaimed WV School Service Personnel Day by Governor Justice. East Park Elementary gives a shout out to all service personnel for the difference they make daily. #MCSgetbackinthegame


Do you have symptoms of COVID-19? The Marion County Health Department offers COVID-19 testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. MVA Health Centers offer testing on Wednesdays from 8 AM to 5 PM at their clinics as well.

Fairmont State University’s President Dr. Martin hosted a reception to welcome MCS’s Superintendent Dr. Donna Hage and celebrate a history of strong collaborations as well as future opportunities in aviation, nursing, criminal justice, education, arts, forensics, architecture.




The Barrickville Bison herd has a mighty approach to learning today with instruction on compound sentences, building math fluency, reading groups, word development, art, and positive behavior supports at the elementary and middle school. #MCSgetbackinthegame
