Welcome to our P.O.W.E.R. Team! Orientation for 11 new special education sides was held today in Marion County Schools.




Jessica Sell, Vice President, Congressional Affairs & Community Outreach for Women at ROC came to speak to Monongah Middle 8th graders today as part of our ongoing Friday Career Fair organized by Mrs.Mitchell. Not only did she provide information about her present career but captivated the Lions as she started her story as a middle schooler trying to figure out her future and moved through her March madness days as a player for the Tarheels, coaching and finally her decision to come back home where she is now working in Biometrics.


Today Watson Elementary held a silly string celebration and raised $2,143.53 for the Kid’s Heart Challenge.

It was Adoption Day in Mrs. Gabby Jordan’s class at White Hall Elementary where they had a special visitor. Students adopted a stuffed animal dog or pet to read with after school during Read Across America Week.




After two beautiful days ☀️ this week to begin middle school golf season in Marion County Schools, we are ready for the 🌧️ to go away for more ⛳️ . Participation numbers are looking strong in the middle schools among male and female golfers in Marion County.
