
The theater troupe of Fairmont Senior is practicing and making final touch ups to the stage to host the Regional High School Theater Troupe competition this Sat., Feb. 12. The North Marion and Fairmont Senior theater troupes will be performing at approximately 9:30 and 10 AM in hopes of earning a spot at the state competition in Huntington.

Nearly 50 students represented schools at the Middle School Summit tonight, hosted by West Fairmont Middle. Students submitted agenda items, shared concerns and solutions. Board Member Richard Pellegrin, President Mary Jo Thomas , Superintendent Dr. Hage took notes and listened.





Celebrating Leadership: Congratulations to Fairview Middle School Principal Steve Rodriguez, who was recently selected to present in the Fairmont State Professional Spotlight Series Encova Career Development Series.


MCS students in grades 3-8 will take the WV General Summative Assessment April 4 - May 27. The school will be reaching out with specific dates of when your child is testing during that window. The SAT is administered to all 11th graders in WV March 23rd. Testing coordinators from all schools were trained today by Technology Coordinator Sally Morgan.

Feb. 12 at the Regional competition at FSHS in hopes of earning a spot at the state competition in Huntington. Feb. 12 at FSHS in hopes of earning a spot at the state competition in Huntington. Last year, NMHS won the International Thespian Society's top honor and was one of only seven schools in WV to submit a play during the pandemic.

Marion County Schools will be on its fifth NTID “Climate Control Day” for Friday, February 4, 2022. Students remain home for instruction.
