Bringing strategies to life, MCS employees attended Back to Basics Training with Peggy Hovatter of the WV Autism Training Center tonight. It was est. in 1984 by WV Legislature and housed at Marshall to serve families of WV with autism spectrum disorders, educators, and others.
“In the absence of knowledge, people make their own truth” was the discussion by MCS high school administrators tonight in HACKING LEADERSHIP book study.
MCS has again been chosen to participate in the WV CARDIAC Project in collaboration with WVU Extension Service. In January more info will come home with students in K, 2 and 5. Congratulations to North Marion Senior Sidney Megna, who is the first Davis & Elkins Emerging Leaders Scholar and the recipient of a $160,000 full ride scholarship from D&E, Citizen’s Bank and WDTV. Megna was selected from over 100 applicants and is our MCS emerging leader.
