Fourth grade students at Watson Elementary were recipients of Book Bundles sponsored by Read Aloud WV. There were 20 classrooms around the state selected for this honor. Students received books based on their personal interests. Books were distributed by Beverly Richards, Marion County Read Aloud President and Evonne Maddow, Read Aloud Coordinator.




Thank you to Deerfield Express, which donated $500 to White Hall Elementary for student programs.


Last night, all 4 Fairmont Senior Attendance Area Bands were awarded a Legislative Citation from the West Virginia House of Delegates for earning a Superior Rating at the WVSSAC Region 10 Band Festival back in March.
Delegate Joey Garcia presented the citation to all band students during the Middle School portion of the Fairmont Senior Area Bands Spring Concert Series.
This is the first time in Marion County History that all 4 Bands earned a Superior Rating at the band festival. In addition, all 4 bands earned straight superior ratings from all 3 judges at the festival.

Explore the New Manufacturing, a state-wide non-profit connecting the manufacturing industry and education through project-based learning programs, annually recognizes educators who are making positive classroom impacts. Commitment to something bigger than yourself: Military Signing Day today at Fairmont Senior High where Brigadier General Michaelle M. Munger, who is the first ever female to become a general officer for the West Virginia Army National Guard in state history, spoke to students.





Opera, West Fairmont Middle's therapy dog, had her first vet appointment with White Hall Animal Clinic today. Dr. Hartman and her team are nothing short of fabulous! Opera and WFMS truly appreciate her sponsorship and commitment to keeping animals happy and healthy.
Opera was given a year's supply of medicine, lots of treats and toys, and of course some White Hall swag. Thank you all so much!
