Lunch today at Watson Elementary was ⭐️ quality! Popcorn, chicken, corn, garlic bread stick, garden salad, strawberries, and milk for National School Lunch Week, October 9-13, 2023. We salute our cooks and the work they do daily to serve our students in many ways.


Taste testing was a success today at Monongah Elementary during National School Lunch Week. New menu item coming soon: Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fried Rice and a Fortune Cookie!

High school students can join a free virtual college fair for the South region of the United States next week, October 16-21. Students can register now through the end of next week. The students can log in any time during that week and get information from many colleges. There is a question and answer section for the students to get answers directly from college reps during the week. This service is completely free and each student that participates is entered to win a scholarship at https://collegefairsonline.com/students/.


The WVDE is seeking original student poster designs for the eight Mathematical Habits of Mind to be displayed in classrooms across West Virginia. Students can submit through their art or math teacher. The deadline has been extended to Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
