Congratulations to Marion County
STEAM Teacher Margie Suder, who continues to make a difference in the lives of our students in grades 5-8 at the Marion County STEAM Center, built by local funds and the Maintenance Department. Suder received a 2023-2024 Innovation Grant of $5,000.00 from The Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, the EQT Foundation, and the Equitrans Midstream Foundation entitled Designing Astronaut Socks.
Marion County Schools Child Nutrition has received the following communication that relates to boxes in the backpack program utilized in some of our schools that may or may not contain one of the recalled Quaker Oats bars. We are advising families that if they have any Quaker Oats bars in the backpack boxes distributed from Marion County Schools, check them and discard that item from Quaker Oats.
Barrackville Student Council collected a grand total of 416 items to be donated to families and community! Thank you all for your help and support!
