May 20, 2023 is Armed Forces Day. President Truman establish the holiday for citizens to come together and thank members of the military for service to their country. Marion County Schools is a proud WV Purple Star District and celebrates our service men and women and families.

"Egg-cited" for Friday and learning? West Fairmont Middle School 7th graders sure were as they've been “egg-stra” busy this week. Students created some "egg-cellent" Egghead Scientist Dioromas from all areas of STEM and beyond!





The sun shines on and the learning goes on and on and on! A beautiful day for Watson’s Kindergarten Field Trip to the Botanical Gardens in Morgantown.





Ms. Dobrzynski’s Contemporary US History classes at East Fairmont High working on decades projects. Each group is assigned a decade to create a timeline of social and political events. They dress up for the oral presentation of era, teach the class a dance, and act out a skit.

It was a special evening and a packed house tonight as Marion County hosted its Career Technical Education Completer Ceremony at the Marion County Technical Center with CTE completers from MCTC and throughout the county being celebrated by their administrators and teachers.
