Congratulations to Sheridan Hudson from Rivesville Elementary/Middle who was selected as Statewide Runner-Up in WV Kids Kick Opioids PSA Contest. The drawing will be displayed inside the State Capitol. This is the second year that a Rivesville student was a state winner.

Marion County’s Lacrosse Team State Champs are recognized as a 3 time Championship team.



EFMS Rockets Program recognized as 2 teams competed Nationally, placing 56th and 42nd out 724. They have now competed nationally for 4 years.




NMHS Track State Champions: 4x200 Relay team, Long Jump & High Jump State Champions!





NMHS Coach Jeff Crane, Track - recognized as Coach of the year!


FSHS Track State 1st place girls 100 meter relay team were recognized at the June 6th board meeting.

White Hall Elementary School’s students had enough fun yesterday to carry them through the summer months! Keep that love of learning lingering on until August 22, the first day of school 2022-23.





Finishing Strong: The Marion County Technical Center student-created newsletter shared successes of the students and staff in 2021-22. MCS is excited to add two new programs at MCTC in Aerospace Engineering and Broadcasting Technology in 2022-23.

No Pressure! Just read and have summer fun! Fairview Elementary had Beach Day today complete with beach towels, books, and other activities. "Rainmaker" was a big hit as the children tried to soak the staff. Mr. Coleman, always a good sport, was ready with his poncho and goggles.





Holding it all together and smiling all year long are the Marion County Schools secretaries like the irreplaceable Mrs. Toothman, secretary at Blackshere Elementary.
