East Dale students were busy in the hive building their knowledge base with rich visual reminders of the learning process today.




Marion County Schools Transportation Department was notified by the WVDOH on work to be performed on Prickett's Creek Road/Bridge .22 miles south of Marion County 80/4.
Bus # 80 and Bus # 104 will transport those students to and from school during the construction.
Bus # 80 will pick up High School and Middle School students on Pride Ridge at 6:16 a.m. and drop off at 3:00 p.m. (approximately 5 students); Elementary students will be picked up at 7:30 a.m. and dropped off at 3:40 p.m. (approximately 1 elementary student)
Bus # 104 will pick up Middle and High School students at 6:10 a.m. and drop off at 3:00 p.m. (approximately 3 students); Elementary/Pre-K students will be picked up at 7:30 a.m. and dropped off at 3:55 p.m. (approximately 5 elementary students)

Do you see GEOMETRIC forms? What do you HEAR in this art? Students at Fairview Middle are bringing together math, art, music, and writing as a way to express their inner self. They are studying Wassily Kandinsky, who pioneered abstract painting in the early 20th century.

It was a magical moment today at Pleasant Valley Elementary as students discovered a new classmate. Students were studying the life cycle of a butterfly.


Fall is in the air as students at Pleasant Valley Elementary celebrate the first days of it with writing activities.
