On the evening of September 3rd, WVDE released updated guidance information with two options related to contact tracing and quarantines in WV Schools. In collaboration with the Marion County Health Department, Marion County Schools puts the following into effect as of 5 PM Friday, September 3rd. Marion County will be using Option 1. Students and staff and a county under a mask mandate will no longer need to quarantine EXCEPT if unmasked and the exposure to a positive was in a high risk, unmasked area such as a cafeteria or extracurricular. #MCSgetbackinthegame
