Tradition and Music to Our Ears: What a class act in the Fairmont Senior High School Madrigals, under the direction of Greg DeVito, who visited Watson and Jayenne elementary schools today and the County Office to spread cheer. 🎶🎼

Sam Noska, an 8th grade student at WFMS, along with Miss Myers and Miss Haddix visited Watson Elementary 4th grade classrooms today to read to the students. Various WFMS students and faculty will be visiting each month as a transitional activity to middle school next year.

English 11 students in Ms. Johnson's class at Fairmont Senior High School worked with perspective and inferencing skills while reading Spoon River.

🚨Reminder: Winter break for Marion County Schools students begins Thursday, December 21, 2023. Staff will report for a Professional Learning Day. Students return on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 on a 2-hour delay schedule.

The Rivesville Christmas parade was bringing in the sounds of the season with the Fairmont Senior Marching Band and the Marion County Schools STEAM Bus.

Blackshere Elementary's holiday program tonight for first and second graders was merry and a wonderful sight.

Blackshere Elementary's 4th grade boys basketball team, 5th grade Mannington Middle boys basketball team and Mannington Middle 6th grade girls basketball team worked on Christmas cards for WVU Children's Hospital, nursing homes and Veterans Hospital with MMS Art Teacher Mr. Puskas, parents Kristin DeVaul & Nakell Howes, and Mr. Saunders.

What an amazing display of science tonight as East Fairmont Middle School hosted the county's science fair with student winners from middle schools throughout the county competing.

Festive evening for Marion County Healthy Grandfamilies Christmas Event at Retro Skate with over 70 in attendance. Marion County RAZE students helped mentor students as well.
