The 6th grade at West Fairmont Middle School is our gift as they decorate 🎄 trees and our world with writing. "If I Could Give a Gift to the World..." was the prompt and students chose a specific location to color on a map, write a paragraph, and draw a picture.

Getting the Pre-K at East Fairmont High School involved for the Hour of Code with some tech and STEAM activities.

Congratulations to East Fairmont High School Coach, Athletic Director and Teacher James Beckman, who was named the 2022-2023 WV Coach of the Year for the sport of Girls Basketball by the WVSSAC/NFHS.

Want to know what reindeer and STEAM have in common? STEAM Bus Teacher Rachel Hullderman visited East Dale Pre-K with STEAM activities that teach a little physics while having fun! Science is magical and so is this time of year!

Yesterday, the 4th graders had the privilege of having Mrs. Biafore, the owner of The Tea Shoppe in Morgantown, visit them. She taught them correct etiquette when having a meal and even brought them tea and cookies from the restaurant.

What's that sound? Another round of State Championship-bound teams pulling out of town! Marion County gets behind East Fairmont Bees and Fairmont Senior Polar Bears as they represent at WVSSAC AA Cheer State Championship on Dec. 9 at Cam Henderson Center of Marshall University.

Spreading holiday cheer through the Community in the Schools grant in Marion County Schools as school-based coordinators of Watson, West Fairmont Middle and Fairmont Senior gather toys provided by the grant for distribution to students.

The East Park Elementary Partnership in Education, Cummins Inc., donated almost $12,000 dollars to East Park School today to help fund student rewards!

Thank you to Marion County Elks Lodge 294 for their monetary donation to the SRO and PRO programs that support Marion County Schools.

Thank you to Marion Knights of Columbus Lodge 942 who gave hundreds of coats to Marion County Schools students to be distributed.

It's a spectacular science celebration today at West Fairmont Middle School as students display over 200 science projects for the school's Science Fair.
