Mr. Foley's 6th graders at Mannington Middle School participated in "Discover Your Future" class and were "EGG-served" doing some "egg grading."




April is “National County Government Month”, and a contest is for 8th grade students across West Virginia. One of the goals is to increase awareness and knowledge about county government and especially the office of County Commissioner. The 8th grade participants type a 500-word essay (400 minimum) on the topic, “How does my county commission make life better for me?” There will be monetary prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention student winners as well as for the 1st place winner’s teacher to be used for classroom activities.

Celebrating 💯 percent attendance in 3rd and 4th grades at Blackshere Elementary today for their state testing. Students started with a parade and ended with an ice cream party to celebrate their hard work and dedication of showing up and doing their best to rock the test!

Barrackville's 6th graders broke out microscopes to look at stomata and kindergarten students were rocking small groups with subtraction and sight words today.






Marion County Autism Academy met with Peggy Hovatter and Andrew Nelson this evening. Teachers worked on social skills instruction and ways to help our students with autism learn social cues through theatre and interactive games.
