A long day for Marion County's high school principals isn't over yet, but one of the stops was to hear their colleagues Principal Jim Green, Principal Brad Harker and Principal Dr. Westfall present the first chapter in a book study of Recalibrate the Culture, by Jimmy Casas.




"We rise by lifting others" and in Marion County Schools principals share out best practices, homegrown expertise on curriculum teams for student achievement, documenting discipline incidences with multiple agencies, and reflecting on strategic planning with colleagues.




Lunch today at Watson Elementary was ⭐️ quality! Popcorn, chicken, corn, garlic bread stick, garden salad, strawberries, and milk for National School Lunch Week, October 9-13, 2023. We salute our cooks and the work they do daily to serve our students in many ways.


Taste testing was a success today at Monongah Elementary during National School Lunch Week. New menu item coming soon: Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fried Rice and a Fortune Cookie!



Great turn out and Marion County Schools principals and teachers are always hard at work into the evenings for student achievement with Jennifer Jump, author and educator for the Science of Reading, brought to MCS by Title I.




It was a beautiful day in the hills for Fairview Elementary staff to take a "Story Walk" during their parent engagement training in the evening.
