Due to a loss of power, Fairmont Senior High School students and staff will be dismissed at 11:30 today, October 17, 2024. We are told the estimated restore of power is 2 PM to the campus.
Fairview Elementary and Middle students will not report to school Friday, October 18, 2024. Marion County Schools has been notified by the Fairview Department of Water that they continue work on the pump, the tank is extremely low, and water remains discolored and under a boil water advisory. We remain in daily contact with Fairview and make decisions regarding cancellation of school on the latest updates provided to us.
